~ Lashley Training Center ~
By Sarah Elise

You’re only as strong as the team around you. (Someone probably said that - at some point.) But man - if that ain’t the truth. Lashley Training Center has been after it since ‘95 and is steadily growing in numbers, locations, and family. Among the many friendly faces in all three spaces is Crystal Fisher!
Many may know her from her Fisher Fit Facebook group or the killer boot camps she runs out of our Danville facility, but there’s more to meet the eye than just her motivational memes and creative workouts! At 43 years young, Crystal is a devoted wife to Nathan, her husband of 14 years, and a fierce mama bear to her 13-year-old daughter Reann, their almost 9-year-old Yorkie - Wilson, and 1-year-old Golden Retriever - Ella. Outside of the gym, you can find her running or golfing to counter her love for beer and chocolate! :) Though she’s spent the majority of life in and around Ohio, she has dipped out of the country to say her vows in Jamaica and even lived in Costa Rica for a hot minute! Spending the winter holidays in a Switzerland Ski Resort with family and friends is at the top of her Bucket List, right after transforming lives!

A ‘96 graduate of Danville High School, Crystal explored multiple avenues before choosing fitness as her path. Accountant, Head Liaison, Financial Officer, Teacher’s Aide are just a few of the hats that Crystal has worn throughout her working career. A shift in her universe caused her to fall in love with the gym however, appreciating it for the changes it made in her own life. She found in her a passion to want to be a part of helping others. So … for the past five years, Lashley Training Center has been her home and focus, mainly because of the major role LTC plays in the lives of the children in the community but also because of how family oriented this gym is compared to others. Holding down the fort at our Danville facility, she’s developed a remarkable boot camp curriculum as well as taken on several personal training clients to help shape and transform bodies and minds.
If ever you have the pleasure of meeting Crystal, you’ll understand immediately why the Class of ‘96 voted her “Friendliest Classmate”. She offers much to any conversation, workout, or relationship, and possesses special powers to make her clients feel at ease and even eager to get after it. Oftentimes there’s a love/hate relationship that exists with personal trainers, seeing as they are torturing you - but for good reason. One particular PT client though could not be more thrilled with her time training with Crystal, stating:
“She [Crystal] has truly changed my life. I believe people are placed in our lives
at just the right time. I was feeling unhealthy and unmotivated. In the 4
months I’ve been working out with Crystal, I have become stronger and more
confident in myself. She knows exactly what type of workout my body needs
and how to shake things up. She is EVERYTHING a personal trainer and
motivator should be.”
Crystal is a firm believer in effort in - effort out, and it’s evident in her daily living that she puts good out into the world. She rises to any occasion to help meet her clients’ needs and goals, whatever they might be.
Inspired by the women in her life, Crystal pays homage to her role model - her mother, who handles everything with a smile and grace, and her daughter (stronger and wiser than most 8th graders), who has helped shape her in so many ways. These two ladies have been the drive and motivation for Crystal to inspire and ignite a love for health and fitness in all of the lives who come in contact with her. She unknowingly combines her geniality and loving nature with her drive and grit to push you to be the best version of yourself - with no regrets and a one-track mentality of -
“Stop wishing for it… and DO IT!”
